1. Showering Suggestions

Because your scalp pores are usually clogged with oil and dirt, steam your hair before shampooing it. The best way to get rid of them is by steaming your hair. To do so, soak a towel in hot water and wring it out. Wrap this towel around your head and leave it there for 20 minutes before jumping into the shower.
Before shampooing, massage steamed hair. After steaming your hair for a few minutes, gently massage your scalp with your fingertips. This will help to clear your scalp of debris and buildup, as well as root out any weak hair strands.
Water should be cool or lukewarm: You’ve probably heard that using heat styling tools on your hair too frequently can harm it? Hot water is a good example of this. Hot water can strip your hair of natural oils and leave your cuticles open, allowing moisture to escape completely. Washing it with cold or lukewarm water, on the other hand, can help close the cuticle and seal in moisture, resulting in shinier and smoother locks. It may also help with frizz control.
Use shampoo that is free of parabens and sulfates (SLS): I’m sure you’ve heard the buzz about switching to sulfate- and paraben-free shampoos. SLS helps create a lather, while parabens act as a preservative. Both of these chemicals have a long history of being linked to skin irritation and allergic reactions. However, recent research has discovered that they can cause cancer and significant eye damage in children. Organic shampoos that are free of SLS and parabens are therefore preferable.

Dry with a towel before conditioning. This procedure may seem tedious, but it’s necessary if you want your hair to be frizz-free after showering. After shampooing, wrap a towel around your head to absorb any excess moisture before applying the conditioner. The conditioner will penetrate your towel-dried hair much more quickly, preventing frizz.
Don’t over-condition your hair: Too much conditioner weighs your hair down, making it appear greasy and more difficult to keep straight after a shower.

It’s a bad idea to put conditioner on your scalp: I’m sure you’ve heard it a million times, but don’t use conditioner on your scalp. This is because it clogs your pores and causes a build-up on your scalp, resulting in decreased hair growth and more hair fall.
Don’t over-condition your hair: You’re mistaken if you think that leaving it on for longer will make your hair moisturized. When the cuticle of wet hair is swollen and open, conditioners work almost immediately. As a result, the conditioner will only penetrate as far as it already has when applied. In fact, leaving conditioner on your hair for an extended period of time can cause it to become greasy.
Once every two weeks, deep condition your hair: Deep conditioning your hair at least once every two weeks is recommended, especially if you have curly or kinky hair that dries out easily.

Microfiber towel/cotton t-shirt: You may not realize it, but terrycloth towels absorb moisture while also absorbing excess water, leaving your hair dry. In addition, the texture of these towels may cause your hair to frizz and break. A microfiber towel or a cotton t-shirt are better options because they are gentler on your hair and do not completely remove all of the moisture.
After a shower, don’t rub your hair with a towel too hard or coil it up in a towel hat: To dry their hair after a shower, the majority of women either vigorously rub it with a towel or coil it up in a towel hat. Both of these methods of hair drying are ineffective because they cause knotting, frizzing, and breaking.
